I live in Astene, Belgium with a beautiful wife and daughter and currently work in Kortrijk at Intercommunal Leiedal as coordinator e-Government, websites, innovation and digital services in smart cities.

After my studies in law and public management, I performed academic research in communication science at iMinds-SMIT, recently merged into IMEC. Fascinated by new media, innovation and business models I continued this work for 5 years. Now, I am working on e-government and digital service delivery for 13 municipalities in the West of Flanders. Responsible for multiple European projects I bring innovation, LEAN processes, open data, social media and digital services to municipalities and their citizens to create a smart region in the South-West of Flanders.
